'In this video, we take a Taiwanese classic and make it healthy by using an air fryer! We can cut the calories in half by minimizing the amount of oil used. We also used chicken breast rather than chicken thigh so you can expect a lot more protein to come out of this dish. This was quick and easy to make so let us know how it turned out for you guys. Make marinade: add 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp white pepper, 1 tbsp Chinese five spice, 3 tbsp garlic, 1 tbsp ginger, 1 tbsp xiao xing cooking wine and mix thoroughly. 2. Slice up chicken and let it marinade fo 30mins to 1 hour. Then coat with Tapioca flour until everything is nice and coated. 3. Turn air fryer on to 400F for 15 minutes. Place chicken inside and flip when the 10 minute mark hits. Spray with some pam oil and add some basil leaves. 4. Make seasoning salt: 1 tbsp sea salt, 1 tbsp five spice, 1 tbsp dashida (optional). 5. Serve with 150g white rice, tea egg, and 5-6 oz. popcorn chicken.
